Since childhood Renee has enjoyed yoga asana, and as an adult she enjoys the suppleness and constant exploration of movement and stillness that yoga provides her body and mind. In time, her love for the practice and strong belief in the benefits of yoga embodied Renee to find a program for teacher certification. Renee became a certified yoga instructor in 2005 through Chicago’s Global Yoga and Wellness Center.

The well-rounded program explored a variety of teaching styles, all rooted in Hatha Yoga. To date Renee has participated in workshops with Aadil Palkhivala, Rodney Yee, Seane Corne, Todd Norian, Danny Paradise and Jimmy Barkin, among others. With so many wonderful teachers and friends to learn from your truest teacher is still yourself, with this mentality Renee brings a loving, joyful and playful approach to her yoga instruction.
