Roy Gonzalez

Teaches at Performing Arts Studio

Roy has been a guitarist for most of his life. After touring in rock bands throughout his early 20's, he moved to Chicago to pursue acting and music. He has been fortunate enough to play guitar for companies like The Hypocrites, A Red Orchid Theatre, Trap Door Theatre, and numerous others. He once composed a ridiculous musical about John F Kennedy fighting Jesus Christ. It was fantastic. He has taught guitar to many amazing people, young and old, over the years and believes that playing music should, above all, be fun. Roy is excited to be a part of the Performing Arts School and can't wait to help you achieve your goals.
