Tyler’s dog-training career began somewhat unconventionally--in corporate banking, where he trained employees at a financial institution in Ohio. Upon moving to Chicago, he found himself spending a good deal of time with some friends and their sweet but fearful dog, who responded particularly well to Tyler’s patient, methodical coaching. 

What began as a casual arrangement with these friends turned into a formal gig, and Tyler established himself as a dog walker and dog sitter for a growing base of clients. Dog walking was a good start...but Tyler wanted to do more. He decided to take the skills he’d learned as a trainer at the bank and apply them to his work with dogs. Since completing the Anti-Cruelty Society School of Dog Training Apprenticeship, Tyler joined the staff of Canine Sports Dog Training and continues to provide dog walking and sitting services for private clients.
